The protection of your personal data is important to us. This privacy policy informs you about the nature, scope and purpose of the collection and use of personal data on this website in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

3. Hosting

This website is hosted by an external service provider (host). Personal data collected on this website is stored on the host servers. This may include IP addresses, contact requests, metadata, communication data, contract data, contact details, names, website accesses and other data generated through a website.

4. Cookies

This website uses cookies. Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We distinguish between technically necessary cookies and optional cookies:

  • Technically necessary cookies: These cookies are required for the operation of the website. This includes cookies for language settings (lang), theme settings (theme) and cookie consent (cookie-consent). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest).
  • Optional cookies: Vercel Analytics: privacy-friendly page view analysis by Vercel Inc. (USA). No personal data is stored; analysis is aggregated and without cross-session user tracking. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent). Only active with explicit consent.

You can change your cookie settings at any time through your browser.

5. Local Storage

We use your browser's local storage (LocalStorage) to save your language selection, color scheme preference and cookie consent status. This data is stored exclusively on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

7. Right to Complain

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority about the processing of your personal data. Competent authority: The State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen.

8. Website Creation

The website, Müllcheck dashboard and ChatGPT integration through the MCP server were developed by Lars Schmitz and LJS Consulting (ljs-consulting.de), Bremen.

9. Müllcheck: reports, photos and map

Müllcheck stores an address or map point, the description, optional photos and a required email address so that Udo Schmitz can review the location, ask follow-up questions and send case updates. The email address is linked privately to the case. ChatGPT does not receive it; the server resolves it when sending a reply explicitly approved by Udo. Supabase stores reports; Resend sends notifications, replies and approved referrals to DBS. Original reports, contact addresses and internal notes remain in the protected account. The public map shows a separately reviewed location, point, summary and status, without photos.

Reviewed case information and your submitted, approved photos are shared for case handling and effective cleaning exclusively with DBS Bremen at info@dbs.bremen.de. The first required checkbox explains this when submitting; the selection, time and wording version are recorded. Every referral requires explicit approval by Udo in the dashboard or chat. The email and attachments remain linked to the case; your contact address is not shared with DBS. Supabase and Resend process the data technically for storage and delivery. Photos are additionally transferred to ChatGPT (OpenAI) only with the second, optional AI checkbox and after review for identifying features. For new reports, ChatGPT may summarise only reviewed location and case information without identifying details; the original report is not transferred. The second checkbox additionally permits photo viewing. Older cases retain their recorded permission; no new permission is assumed retrospectively. To withdraw permission or request deletion, email udo@moin-neustadt.de with your case number; attachments already sent to DBS cannot be recalled technically.

The map loads only when requested. OpenStreetMap then receives your IP address and the connection data needed to serve map tiles. Your device location is requested only after you select the location feature and grant browser permission. Reports can be submitted without device location permission or photos. An email address and either an address or precise location description or a map point are required; both location options may be provided.

You may separately opt in to transfer and viewing of your reviewed, anonymised photos in ChatGPT (OpenAI) to identify waste hotspots faster. The checkbox is unchecked and optional. We record your decision, timestamp and consent version. Names, contact details, faces, number plates and other identifying features must be manually removed and reviewed before any transfer; removing image metadata alone is insufficient. Uploading does not trigger automatic AI processing. Only with this valid second consent and after Udo reviews the selected photos may MCP transfer them to ChatGPT for viewing. Without AI consent, the server attaches DBS photos directly from private case storage; ChatGPT receives neither image data nor image links. Withdrawal blocks further MCP photo requests but cannot retrieve data already transferred. Consent does not permit public use of photos. Withdraw immediately after submission using the displayed button, or later by emailing udo@moin-neustadt.de with your report number. Withdrawal applies to future processing and does not affect earlier processing. Fully anonymised information can no longer be linked to you for targeted deletion.

Uploaded original photos remain in the private case; resized copies without image metadata are used for previews and delivery. Originals are not sent as email attachments. Associated email messages and delivery evidence also remain within the private case. Private information is removed 180 days after a case is resolved, or 30 days after a report is archived. Resolved locations remain on the public map for 90 days. For questions about processing or deletion, contact udo@moin-neustadt.de.
